SATELLITE RADIO

PWC, ATV, or Motorcycle!

Our audio systems are the perfect choice for Satellite Receivers.

We have many people installing satellite receivers on their ski and
sending us photos soon. Here's an XM system on an Ultra 250:




This is a Sirius system we are currently installing on an RXP. We chose a JBL MBB218
which has a waterproof faceplate and a "black box" that installs in a dry location. The
features we liked best are low level outputs for connecting to our amplifier; AM / FM
receiver built in; AUX in for our Ipod, and the ability to control everything from the
dash. It does require another black box for Sirius satellite radio (JBL SIR 2.5) and an
antenna for satellite radio reception.




Here's a look at the system installed. The satellite antenna is installed on the top of
the storage cover lid and was painted gloss black to match. We installed the faceplate
on the glovebox door which makes it easy to control everything, including the Ipod.




Here's a look at the "black boxes" The bottom unit contains the AM / FM receiver which
connects to the faceplate. The top unit is a Sirius satellite receiver designed to work with
this system. The faceplate also controls an auxiliary input which in our case, is an Ipod
we keep in the glove box. The low level outputs of this system are connected to our
 amplifier for some truly awesome sound!
